If you're a millennial who loves to cook and digs a retro style, you probably feel a bit out of your element as you shop for kitchen appliances.

GE Artistry™ kitchen appliances were designed by someone firmly in touch with millennials' tastes: 27-year-old GE industrial designer Tomas DeLuna. (Note that even the spelling of his traditional first name carries a novel touch, without the inclusion of the usual "h.") DeLuna clearly embraces retro style – as evidenced by his decision to prominently include the "old" GE logo on each Artistry™ appliance. The company retired the logo before DeLuna was even born.

It would be short-sighted to view GE Artistry™ kitchen appliances by their strikingly bold looks alone. The full four-piece suite – bottom-freezer refrigerator, dishwasher, range and microwave – is surprisingly affordable, owing somewhat to the lack of high-tech do-dads (apps, LED screens and high-tech interfaces) found on other appliance lines targeted to the younger crowd.
