- Over your head. One great place for your projector is over your head, in the ceiling. If you have suspended ceilings, this may be easy to do on your own. If not, talk with contractors about building a trap-door to access.
- In a box. Have a woodworker construct a custom box to enclose and contain your projector. Have the contractor match it up with the woodwork and inherent architecture of the room.
- Behind a barrier. If you don't want to contain the projector entirely, consider building a wall around it. This leaves the top and bottom free and exposed for easy-access.
- In the closet. Have a closet nearby? Consider tucking your projector in this space to keep it safe and out of sight.
- On a shelf. Add a shelf or cabinet in your screening area for your projector. This may also keep it dust-free, as well.
- Behind the screen. Another great solution is to tuck the projector behind the actual viewing screen. This may require special equipment, including a rear projection system.
- Cleverly crafted in furniture. A modern approach is to invest in short-throw projectors, which can be cleverly disguised in pieces of furniture.
