Divide the Space
Try using furniture pieces to separate the space into more intimate areas using furniture. This gives the impression of multiple rooms while maintaining the sight lines of a large open plan. Choose lower pieces like chaise lounges, oversized ottomans, or a sofa in the center of the space with a console table behind it to maintain the sightline. For a more definite division of space, popular options include screens, bookshelves, and TV stands.
Use Angles
Well-defined angles give a clear visual delineation between spaces. A functional and fashionable choice for impressive angles is an L-shaped sectional sofa. Use it to divide the space between two seatings areas or to help differentiate between your living room and dining area.
Play with Paint
