Review of GE Refridgerator

The product has controls on the door for cooling for the freezer and refridgerator. After turning down the refridgerator to 34 degrees, My thermometer indicates the temperature as 37 degrees. The freezer is fuctional and I find nothing falls out like my old side by side. The only dissatified feature is the ice bucket. During the summer heat, my wife and I deplete the ice before end of day.

I just love the French Doors! So easy to get large platters in and very easy access to everything. I especially love the ice compartment on the inside door. Therefore you still have lots of room on the inside. Besides loving the French doors I think the freezer on the bottom makes the most sense! This is my second French door refrigerator. Unfortunately we moved and I had to leave the other behind. I will always choose this model

First purchased on 5/18/22, refrigerator went out in less than 3 weeks. Vendor replaced that unit on 6/5/22, came how this afternoon 7/2 to find this one has gone out Beyond frustrated & if there was an option to rate this unit a 0 would still be overrated!

Great until it Wasn't

Love the design and amount of space. at 3 months it stopped cooling and we lost $500 in groceries because it took a tech 2 days to be dispatched

Loving my first French Door refrigerator

I have always had side-by-side refrigerators, and obviously thought I preferred them, so this was quite a change. Now that I have had the pleasure of using it, I have several observations that are all quite positive. After removing all the contents of the previous refrigerator and then placing it in the new one, it was readily apparent that the French Door model has a much better use of space. Where the previous model was jammed full, this new one has plenty of room for everything without crowding. I love the ability to easily see what is in the produce and fruit drawers, all the way to the back of the drawer. That will keep things like a stray piece of fruit from getting lost until it is no longer usable. The smaller in-door shelves on the left side (near the ice dispenser) are wonderful. They keep those small bottles from getting lost. I also like the heft of the doors and shelves. Everything seems solid and of excellent quality. The only thing I wish this appliance had was the ability to measure water as it is dispensed, but the ease of making adjustments to the temperature in the refrigerator and the freezer make up for that.

The water and ice maker has broke multiple times

Unfortunately they water and ice maker keep malfunctioning. They come and fix it and shortly after it stops working. I would not recommend this product or GE.
