The side tank is a must have accessory. We use a good bit of ice and were filling the ice maker 3-4 times per day. This accessory tank makes that job easier and less frequently needed.
It has funcitoned smoothly since install.

My whole family loves this ice. The cute nugget is easy to crunch without breaking your teeth. I had to purchase the side water tank because we use this ice so much. I think it makes your drinks taste better. Well worth the money!!

When I first purchased my Opal, I didn't include the side tank. After 2 months of use, I decided to add it. I'm certainly glad I did! Works just as it says it will and no more checking daily for water levels. Very happy customer!
