Initially this product seemed to fit our needs perfectly as my 80yr old mom and my disabled/wheelchair bound Dad could easily reach ice and access freezer ...as well as see the food in the fridge plus pour a glass of cold filtered water. Barely 1+ years into owning this fridge we have had nothing but problems. The Fridge does not cool. We have had 5 repair techs including an LG employee visit the house after the cooling stopped. The fridge seemed to work for about a week then the same problem happened again. We eventually disconnected the water service however same problems. Each tech seemed to replace some part however same problem. Worth noting each time the cooling stopped we had to toss away a load of groceries yep 5 loads of refrigerated goods in the trash. As i type this message the fridge looks Nice...and the fridge is useless and does not cool. I cant even resell. So I will need to buy a new fridge. Please suggest a new fridge i should purchase please.

The refrigerator works fine and had a good price. Instructions are terrible. I couldnt lower the temperature to 33 degrees based on the instructions. Luckily I found the fix on the web. You have to set the temperature then pull the plug for 10 seconds. I wonder how many think they lowered the temperature but didnt. The conspiracy side of me makes me think it was hidden on purpose.

I bought my LG refrigerator through Costco to replace my working Samsung refrigerator and it was delivered one week later after ordering. The refrigerator didnt even work at all and I at least lost over $150 of foods. Costco reordered the refrigerator from LG and it has been a week and hasnt been arrived. Costco is very helpful trying to deliver the refrigerator earlier. No luck. If there is a negative star I will give one. I will never ever buying LG products.

Terrible condensation. Purchased the refrigerator from Costco over a year ago and I immediately noticed excessive water accumulation in containers. I contacted Costco and they send a technician to inspect it. The technician determined excessive water accumulation is normal in this refrigerator make/model. Water accumulates in items like bread tortillas containers with fruit whole vegetables like tomatoes/onions etc. Milk products will last less than 10 days. The fridge is good looking appliance but thats pretty much it.

We bought this the LG French Door 32.8 wide refrigerator Model #LF20G6331 at Lowes on May 6 2026. Our options were very limited due to the space where it goes. Overall we are pleased with the size and inside spaces. However it is NOT print proof and shows lots of fingerprints which is very disappointing. The fingerprint-less option is was really important to us. In addition the water/ice maker system while going for 20-30 seconds is the loudest weve ever heard. There are actually times I think there is water running right behind me. I have noticed now on other reviews that the ice/water system is not as expected. We agree.

Overall very good refridgerator with only a minor insignificant flaw. That is the upper tray in the freezer does not stay in and always comes out half way such that it interferes with the bottom tray and one cannot load or remove items easily. Minor difficultly but when in a hurry it could be bothersome.

0 star rating for Customer Care and LG Products BUYER BEWARE - LG sells refrigerators knowing they have defective inverter linear compressors in their refrigerators and LG does not stand behind their products or customers. I purchased my refrigerator Model LRFCS25D3S one model of many with failing compressors from Home Depot online in early 2022 for $1600. Last week almost 3 years and 3 months the refrigerator completely died due to a failed linear compressor. In addition I lost close to $1200 of food due to spoilage. LG claims that since I called LG about the compressor failure 2 days before it was repaired LG requires 3 days - how convenient I am not entitled to a spoilage refund even though my refrigerator crashed last week after business hours on Friday prior to Mothers Day. NOTE: LG replaced the Inverter Linear Compressor with the exact same model and LG does not provide a new warranty for parts and labor on the new compressors installed despite the fact that they are well aware these compressors may only last 2-4 years before they no longer work and can breakdown in as little as a week after being installed. LG never fixed the issue with the linear compressors and are still using them. SHAME SHAME. There have been multiple class action lawsuits against LG including settlement and new litigation filed in 2024 due to the defective compressors in LG refrigerators. I ordered a 27 cu. ft. Smart Counter-Depth MAX French Door Refrigerator with handle bar on May 5 2026. They confirmed the delivery date to be May 8 2026. On May 8 2026 they called and said they need to reschedule the delivery date to May 152026. I need the refrigerator urgently but I have no option but to wait. Finally the refrigerator was delivered today but its not the one I ordered. I called the customer services for about 2 hours but the customer services transferred to one and one department but no one can help solve this replacement problem. Order#1118253763 please deliver the correct refrigerator and take away the wrong one asap I also ordered the haul away service but the delivery man refused to do it with the reason that the door it too small. If so please refund it.

Do not buy this from LG. Get it from a retailer like Home Depot or Lowes. I had a scheduled delivery date and the afternoon before the delivery they simply changed the date to a new date they picked. Thats despite the fact that I scheduled everything around the confirmed date. LGs support is just a call center that tells you to call their third party delivery service as though its my issue to fix. Theres no resolution and it makes me concerned what would happen if I needed customer support after owning it.

Weve owned this fridge for ~3 months and there are a lot of great things about it. We chose this over other options for 2 main reasons: 1 It has a deep and squared-off bottom freezer. I freeze a lot of soup/etc. and it was literally the only model at both Home Depot and Best Buy that could fit 2 stacked 32-oz deli containers depth-wise. Others were shallower more-rounded tubs - fine for things like frozen peas but not efficient for stacking containers. After 3 months I do still like the freezer. 2 The veggie drawers were big. We eat a ton of veggies and these drawers seemed big enough to fit giant bunches of greens etc. However after owning this I hate the drawers. They are NOT crisper drawers and may actually be anti-crisper drawers. Veggies that would have stayed fresh for a week or two in all our previous fridges wilt after a few days in this one. If LG redesigned at least one side as a crisper drawer this fridge would be better.

I have had this refrigerator for two years and loved it until now. It has excellent capacity shelf organization and beautiful design. However the cooling fan stopped working a month ago and the refrigerator is now useless and the freezer is barely working. Repair companies report that they cannot obtain LG parts and I should not have bought from LG. Purchased in 4/2023 and the solution is to buy a new refrigerator? Buyer beware.

Purchased this unit in 2016 it stopped fully cooling two weeks ago and slowly got warmer and warmer until it completely stopped last week. We thought it was the compressor and discovered wed have to pay $500 to have the repair done - though the compressor would be under warranty...only to find that there is a Yoder Loop Leak inside the door of the refrigerator and the unit was deemed *unrepairable*. After only 8.5 years of use it is completely broken and cannot be fixed Apparently this type of failure is a known issue and there are multiple related lawsuits in court records. In our situation LG has been incredibly unhelpful offering only a 15 discount on a replacement. Im still waiting to hear back from the supervisors who promised to call. Against our better judgment we ordered another one using the discount code paid to have it delivered as quickly as possible since we have no refrigerator in the meantime received confirmation that it would be delivered the next business day and called the delivery team only to find that they cant deliver it for two more days. In the meantime weve had no functional refrigerator for about a week and counting. LG says they are very sorry for the inconvenience but I am beyond frustrated at this point - for being left with a defective refrigerator and no solution for total lack of support and delayed delivery - which I paid for.

Deceiving vent openings and poor cooling

Ive owned this fridge for a month and noticed it just doesnt get cold enough in the fridge. So after some additional research and testing only the right side of the vents actually blow air leaving the left side a good 3-4 degrees warmer. This results in temperatures in the 40s especially in the door which is highly unsafe. People check the temperature of your fridge

Faulty compressors requiring frequent replacements

I am giving it 2 stars only because we like the refrigerator itself but not how it works. I am giving 0 stars for customer service and companys blatant disrespect of its customers. We bought similar model in Jan 2019 2018 model. 2 years later the compressor went for the 1st time. Luckily compressors have a ten-year warranty and not one. Replaced after long debate with customer service trying to persuade us it was not a compressor. Since then compressors go every 1.5 years. Lost a lot of food around Christmas time of 2023 because of compressor failing again. LG wanted us to pay for labor because warranty was up. We argued that compressor is still under warranty and we should not be punished for LGs failed product. Regular customer service was extremely rude and did not want to escalate hung up the phone twice on me. It was escalated only after we emailed CEO of customer service and company. Then a person from escalation department admitted that LG made and/or continues to make faulty compressors. She agreed to replace compressor and not charge for labor. She also promised to send $300 for the lost food check never arrived. Welp we are in Aug 2025 and our compressor said goodbye again. Called LG 3 weeks ago and received the same you have to pay for labor because warranty is up I asked to escalate and was told someone would get back to me. This was on July 28th. No one called or emailed. I called LG today to follow-up received lot of useless oh no sorry this happened to you again and no one got back to you The call was lost twice someone called back after the first disconnect. Call was disconnected the second time while I was waiting for a supervisor to call me on the other line no call back after this disconnect. Had to call back for the THIRD time only to hear I will send my superiors an escalation request because we are limited on what we can do on our end Judging by 12-star reviews describing similar issues LG did not bother to fix their compressor problem and continues to use these faulty compressors. Do better LG Respect your customers and provide a product that does not require replacement every 1.5-2 years though it is profitable for your company. Very frustrating and disappointing experience.

Fridge seems solid. LG support not so much. Complete run around. I unboxed right outside the 30 day return due to a delay in remodel. The fridge had a sizable dent in the door. Originally they agreed to a return at a $190 restocking fee. Then would not honor that. Then sent me to a dealer to replace the door at $425. Ive spent multiple hours on the phone and chat. LG please help me. I just would like the door replaced. You can look at all this notated on my account.

We like this refrigerator LRFLC2706S. Delivered in early July 25. Our son has had his about a year and we purchased the same one. Unlike our sons refrigerator which I helped set-up for him and added a water supply hook-up in his home for the ice maker and refrigerator water our LRFLC27062 leaned back too much. And the height of the rear wheels are not adjustable. Our floor is level. I added a block of wood under each rear wheel measuring 0.380 inches thick. This allowed me to make the refrigerator level with some adjustability forward or backward using the adjustable front foot pads. With our refrigerator now level the doors operate smoothly when opening closing. No more slamming of the doors when we close them. And the pull out bin in the freezer no longer glides backwards when accessing it. The installation now looks proper when the refrigerator is viewed from the side. I have read others have this non-level leaning backward issue. Some think its a design feature. I do not. Again my sons LRFLC2706S purchased little over a year ago doesnt lean backward. I think this a manufacturing defect. The rear wheels were not properly placed creating too much backward lean when installed. But I corrected this error and it is a big improvement.

After a year with this fridge I decided to share my experience. I really shopped a long time before deciding on this one and I am happy with my choice. I had a noisey Frigidaire side-by-side with door dispenser for 17 years before this. Compared with my new one I dont miss it. This one is so quiet I dont hear it running my hearing is not great. I had to adjust to opening the door for water or ice but the trade-off is worth it. The 26 cu ft space is amazing. I never struggle to fit more in. The smudge-free SS finish is surprisingly effective and very easy to clean. Also easy is installing adjusting shelves opening and closing doors and drawer changing filters. I did take a while to adjust to the three-door layout but that too was worth it. I will mention some of the negatives here so you know I am sincere. It does stick out 5.75 past the counter plus handles or the door bangs the cabintry. The ice system is slow and a bit stuck together. The controls are not easy to figure out. Despite these drawbacks if a tree fell on it today I would buy another one just like it.

Poor design of mullion between doors

I purchased February 2024. The mullion between the 2 french doors has slipped multiple times causing the refrigerator not to be air tight. I tried to fix it but there doesnt appear to be a way to tighten it up. My neighbor bought the same refrigerator and has the same problem. There are also 2 display models at Home Depot that have the same problem.

LGs Poor Customer Service Not Worth It

This fridge is nice but it was delivered with dents in the doors. Because my home renovation took longer than expected I am now stuck with these dents. I tried calling LG 4 times now. Each time they claim I am in the repair queue but I have never received an email or ETA on when the repair will happen after over two months of waiting. Lots of time and money wasted on this.

The fridge is great. I purchased a Thermo Works thermometer to measure inside temps of fridge and freezer it holds temperature well. Theres lots of space in the fridge. The print proof is just a clear film applied over the stainless steel that still leaves marks. Ours arrived with the film already peeling up at the edges. It got progressively worse and ended up removing it completely as it looked so bad. Luckily it didnt leave the SS surface sticky. The unit looks much better in my opinion. Well also be removing it from the LG dishwasher.

We needed to replace a counter depth unit and were amazed by the interior space of this beauty 27 cubic feet is huge I love the sleek look of the 3 door unit and love the hidden water inside the refrigerator segment and the ice maker in the freezer drawer is totally convenient Deep door shelves hold everything Excellent use of space. Found the price to be another win for this excellent unit

I had a counter depth refridge before from another maker and it really sacrificed capacity. I love my LG it is spacious in both compartments and on the door. Wished the stainless finish was more fingerprint resistant

Mixed... We really like the refrigerator...but... after owning it for 5 weeks we started to notice water on the floor in front of it. Since our sink and dishwasher are nearby it took a bit of time to figure out that it was the refrigerator. After checking the water lines no leaking and working with online support they scheduled and sent out a local technician and he quickly found the problem. During manufacturing LG plugged up the freezer drain behind the backwall of the freezer compartment with spray foam insulation. Major manufacturing defect. With a drain opening the condensation filled up in the bottom of the freezer compartment and eventually flowed out onto our floor....in little trickles over time but enough to warp our hardwood floor. The tech drilled the spray foam insulation out of the drain and it is mostly draining correctly now but we are still getting some water buildup in the bottom of the freezer.
