I bought this unit about 3 weeks ago during one of the heat waves we had this summer. Unit arrived quickly after order was easy to install and is super easy to operate. My 5 year old can use the remote to turn on and adjust the temps.

I bought this unit for a living room with a cathedral ceiling. #1 it is to noisy #2 you can not adjust the vents up or down they dont do it. Its or left or right. #3 for 6000 btu it takes way to long to cool and it never does reach the temperature desired and shut off.

just installed as we obtained from dyers our local appliance center.
not loud not as most are complaining about. then again our last was
15+ years old and had a hard life. but still works *now it was LOUD*.
however well it does work for the time being im unable to see
any ports for draining. and the corners seem way to well made
for any dripping to happen. i notice two plug looking things on the bottom.
but i see nothing in the manual about removing these. so im curious to
where it drains at.
Oh and just so LG knows *which they may and it may be practical*
but the place i speak of is offering the warranty at 200 dollars for 1 year

I had an older 10k btu air conditioner and it was outdated really old over 10 years old and its cooling power was poorer due to aging and bent fins. This brand new 6k btu LG air conditioner cools way better than my old non energy efficient 10k btu air conditoner the new refrigerant used seems efficient and less impact on ozone.
